It’s the day you have been waiting for all winter and a sure sign that spring is coming soon. Visit Hershberger’s Farm and Bakery for Opening Day of the 2023 Petting Area Season.
The indoor areas of the petting area will be open daily from March 1, 2023 through December 24, 2023. Outdoor areas, buggy rides, and horse rides will open as the weather permits – but all will be opening soon as well.
Visit Hershberger’s Farm and Bakery for this wonderful family-friendly event featuring lots of baby animals. New for 2023, Baby Animal Day will be a celebration of spring and an opportunity to interact with multiple baby farm animals ranging from chicks and bunnies to calves and colts.
This special event features FREE Petting Area admission for children ages 12 and under.
The indoor portions of the Petting Area will be open and the displays will feature baby animals in several areas. A few of the babies include: a Baby Donkey, Chicks, Piglets, Sheep, Goats, Rabbits, Draft Horse Colt, Pony Colt, and more.
Back again for 2023, Bunny Day at Hershberger’s Farm and Bakery is one of the most popular events of the year. Get up close and personal with over 100 bunnies in the petting area.
Visit Hershberger’s Farm and Bakery for the final special event of 2022. Christmas Kid’s Day is an annual event that has become a real favorite for children and adults.

There will also be FREE candy tasting where you can sample some of the area’s best handmade candy like Turtles, Buckeyes, Caramels, and all things chocolate covered.
Visit Hershberger’s Farm and Bakery for Kid’s Day with Draft Horses Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10 am to 4 pm. Children 12 and under will receive FREE admission to the petting area where they can get photo on a draft horse, receive a custom magnet from the Farm Store, and a horse cookie from the Bakery.
Several different breeds of draft horses will be around the farm including Belgians, Percherons, and Draft Crosses.
*Buggy rides will be offered weather permitting.
