Events focus on children ages 12 and under with an emphasis on Donkeys and other animals found in the manger. There is something for everyone including candy tasting and much more. \nChristmas Kid'sDay is an annual tradition for families throughout northeast Ohio who come to see the animals\, do some shopping\, and sample great handmade foods.\n\nAdmission is FREE for children 12 years old and younger and each child will receive a Donkey cookie from the Bakery. There will also be FREE candy samples available throughout the day.

We look forward to celebrating with you! \nDay One – April 9: Christening in Sugarcreek \nThe celebration begins on Thursday\, April 9\, when Engine No. 19 will journey into the heart of the Village of Sugarcreek for a special public display. \n\n5:00 p.m. – Arrival at the Sugarcreek Depot followed immediately by the official christening ceremony.\n5:00–7:00 p.m. – Public viewing of No. 19 in downtown Sugarcreek.\n7:00 p.m. – Departure of No. 19 back to the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum.\n\nDay Two – April 10: Rides\, Tours & Movie Night\nOn Friday\, April 10\, visitors can ride behind Engine No. 19 and explore the Roundhouse. \n\nTrain Rides Behind No. 19: 10:30 a.m.\, 11:30 a.m.\, 12:30 p.m.\, 1:30 p.m.\, 2:30 p.m.\, and 3:30 p.m.\nRoundhouse Tours: 10:00 a.m.\, 11:00 a.m.\, 12:00 p.m.\, 1 p.m.\, and 2:00 p.m.\n\nThe day will conclude with an America 250–Ohio event: “Ohio Goes to the Movies.” The museum will host a special screening of the Emperor of the North (PG)\, a film prominently featuring Engine No. 19.
